Today I picked up six new issues. I started off with the four new Flashpoint releases: Project Superman, Hal Jordan, Canterbury Cricket and Green Arrow Industries. The last two are just one-shots and the first two are the final three issues series released with the Flashpoint event. The last two issues I got were good ones. First I got the third issue of Batman Arkham City, a good issue. However, I feel it was a bit of a filler but still a good read. The last issue I got was a new series, an eight issue from Marvel called Captain America Band of Heroes. Intriguing first issue not dealing only with Cap but new characters. Looking forward to the next issue.

Needed two more punches on my punch card to get a free comic today so i picked up some new comic books. I have been feeling the Marvel comics and decided to go with Moon Knight. I am recently new to comic books so I’m giving a lot of first issues a try and I’m easily intrigued by first issues. Got Moon Knight #1 and #2 and the third issues is out on July 6th.

Good first few issues and I was pleasantly surprised by the type of art in these books. Liking the story line and the usage of other characters. Will continue following.  

The more and more I read into Marvel’s Fear Itself and DC Comics’ Flashpoint event

I am coming to the conclusion that the story in Fear Itself is better but the event of Flashpoint is more collectible and self starting.
